Vera Cha Lu obtained her B.S. in Economics and Cognitive Science with a specialization in computing from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1997 and her J.D. from the University of California, Davis in 2002. She has been with the firm since March of 2007. Vera is a member of the State Bar of California admitted to practice in all California state courts and in the United States District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California, the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California (ADCNC), and Claims and Litigation Management (CLM).

Vera has extensive experience representing developers, general contractors, architects, owners, subcontractors, and material suppliers in complex civil litigation, including construction defect claims, breach of contract disputes and mechanic’s liens actions, to name a few. In addition, she has represented a wide array of clients in insurance defense matters including property disputes and personal injury claims.
